2011 TWHBEA National Futurity Promises Excitement
Lewisburg, TN - The Tennessee Walking Horse Breeders’ and Exhibitors’ Association (TWHBEA) is currently gearing up for what promises to be an exciting National Futurity. At 553, nominations are up over last year, and with an increased total purse of $70,042.69 over the $66,019.66 paid last year, the event remains the richest one night show in the Tennessee Walking Horse industry. “We are very pleased with the increase in nominations this year, numbers are up and this is a fine time to be part of the National Futurity,” says TWHBEA President Marty Irby. Scheduled for the evening of August 24, 2011, at Calsonic Arena in Shelbyville, Tennessee, the TWHBEA National Futurity promises to excite as our industry’s top youngsters compete for some of the most prestigious titles in the walking horse industry.
