TWHBEA Announces 2011 Awards Banquet Location

Lewisburg, TN – The Tennessee Walking Horse Breeders’ and Exhibitors’ Association (TWHBEA) is pleased to announce that the 2011 TWHBEA Annual Awards Banquet will be held, once again, at the Cool Springs Marriott in Franklin, Tennessee in conjunction with the Walking Horse Trainers’ Association (WHTA) year-end activities. The banquet is scheduled for the evening of Friday, December 2, 2011.

TWHBEA is happy to once again work with the WHTA in a cooperative spirit to celebrate the accomplishments of our great breed. “We are pleased to announce this joint effort between the WHTA and TWHBEA to bring our groups together for such a festive and important occasion during the holiday season,” says TWHBEA President Marty Irby.

The Tennessee Walking Horse Breeders' and Exhibitors' AssociationTM (TWHBEA), headquartered in Lewisburg, Tennessee, is the oldest and most prestigious organization devoted to the promotion of the breed. Founded in 1935, the breed registry was established to record the pedigrees of the Tennessee Walking Horse. Its goal is to maintain the purity of the breed, to promote greater awareness of the Tennessee Walking Horse and its qualities, to encourage expansion of the breed, and to help assure its general welfare.
